05/04/08 - MAY FLOWERS
Spring is here and we are ready to kick off the season with a bunch of shows and good times. We have seven more shows this month including our first ever performance at the Surf & Saddle on Friday, May 16 and the debut of our new schedule at Hennessey's in downtown. Starting May 17, we will be playing Hennessey's every other Saturday. This is our first regular Saturday gig in downtown San Diego, so we are real excited to bring our live show to the Gaslamp Quarter.
Also, we would like to introduce to a couple new faces to Fiffin Market. First up is Jon Ford, who is actually not so new to FM. Jon has returned to play lead guitar, mandolin, and banjo. He played a few shows with us last fall and contributed his awesome lead guitar skills to our new album Lost At Sea. If you see a guy sporting a mohawk and tearing up the banjo, with a pint of Guinness in hand, that would be Jon. In addition to the Flogging Molly enthusiast, we have also added a music teacher, specializing in the violin, to the ranks of Fiffin Market. Cami Smith located to San Diego last year and brings some talented fiddle playing to the group. She can harmonize quite well with Odell's viola parts and adds an additional element to our vast library of original and traditional music. We would like to welcome both aboard and can't wait to play more shows together!!!
Most of our shows will feature a lineup of seven different people who love to have a good time and play our take of traditional classics. But some venues don't have the space for the full Fiffin Market team. So we have put together a smaller group of us (i.e. Kimberly, Beau, and Odell), so we can reach many more venues across San Diego County and beyond. This is a stripped down version of Fiffin Market with the same heart and message as the full group. We have started performing at The Blarney Stone Pub in Clairemont and will also be playing some coffeehouses as well. We love playing music, and we wanted to keep spreading the word on San Diego's favorite Irish band. See you at the shows!!!
05/03/08 - "MY DREAM" PLAYED ON CHANNEL 93.3!!!

05/03/08 - "MY DREAM" PLAYED ON CHANNEL 93.3!!!
On Wednesday morning, April 30 or song "My Dream" was played on AJ's Playhouse on Channel 93.3 FM. Odell did a podcast with Hula from the show last year when we were recording and now they played our song. How cool is that?
