12/15/06 - Christmas @ The Backyard (Escondido, CA)
We joined artists such as Josh Damigo, Michael Tiernan, and Paige Aufhammer to play this Christmas event. We played "My Christmas" and "Autumn Forever" and a medley of Christmas carols. It was a festive night for our final show of 2006.
12/09/06 - Upstart Crow Trading Company (San Diego, CA)
Another great show at Upstart Crow. Our buddies Free Air joined us at this cool Sea Port Village coffee house. Marcel was absent for the night but we were able to still play a fun set. Brinton played double duty for both Free Air and Fiffin Market.
12/08/06 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe (La Mesa, CA)
After speeding down I-15, we made it to La Mesa where the Christmas In The Village Festival was taking place. We got a spot following Ben Ingraham at Cosmos Coffee Cafe and played our second set of the night. We got to play our holiday song "My Christmas". It was a blast and totally made our night.
12/08/06 - Hot Java Cafe (San Diego, CA)
Our first show at the well know Hot Java Cafe. It was Christian Folk Music Night and we got asked to give a performance. We debuted "Angels" and a cover of "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley. We had to leave right after we played and book it down to La Mesa because...
12/01/06 - His Place Coffee House (Escondido, CA)
PitchLaRooche opened the show. Kimberly was sick so the guys had to go it alone again. We introduced "General Taylor" to the set which included the debut of Brinton on the mic. This is a great coffee house in Escondido and we can't wait to come back next year.
11/25/06 - The Psalmist Hour (San Diego, CA)
About 50-75 people packed The Psalmist Hour. We played three songs - "Berry Picking Time", "Folsom Prison Blues", and "The Wild Rover". The crowd was great! Everyone had a great time, Mr. Damigo also played and rocked the house. Kimberly was absent but Beau, Marcel, and Brinton managed.
11/19/06 - LifePoint Cafe (San Diego, CA)
Well, the Chargers-Broncos game was on this Sunday night at the same time as our show, So attendance was small but meaningful. Josh Damigo also played and wowed everyone with his Disney ballads. The "hats" were worn for the first time - a new trend?
11/17/06 - The Backyard (Escondido, CA)
Usually hosted outside, the show was moved inside in the worship hall for the winter season. Our cousin Bobby, home for the holidays, was able to make up to the show and we all had a great time. Melody Prout opened the show and played wonderfully.
11/16/06 - Tiki Bar (San Diego, CA)
Thor filled in on drums as we played this tiny bar in Pacific Beach. Let's just say they were stingy on the free drinks and the pool table took up half the place. That is all.
11/02/06 - 11/04/06: THE 2006 AUTUMN FOREVER TOUR
An absolute success! Free Air opened all the shows for us and Brinton debuted on drums (also playing for Free Air). Our first show was at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (11/02/06 - Las Vegas, NV). It was a good warm-up show to the big one later that night on the main stage at the House of Blues (11/02/06 - Las Vegas, NV). Wow, what an experience. We got our own dressing room and everything. Not only was it our biggest stage we ever played on it was our biggest crowd too. It will definitely be a night we will always remember. On Friday we played Hennessey's Tavern (11/03/06 - Las Vegas, NV). It was part of Las Vegas First Friday event and was a cool Irish pub in downtown Las Vegas. After that we rushed over to play our second show at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (11/03/06 - Las Vegas, NV) over by UNLV. After the show we went out on the town as a group, met up with Happy Ron and had a great time. The next morning we hit the road for Flagstaff, AZ for the second leg of the tour. We opened the night at the Campus Coffee Bean (11/04/06 - Flagstaff, AZ), an interesting coffee shop in the Arizona college town. After he show we went back to where we were staying, the Hotel Weatherford, and also where our final show of the tour would be, Charly's Pub (11/04/06 - Flagstaff, AZ). Both us and Free Air played fun, energetic sets to close out the tour. It was such a great experience for all of us and we can't wait to head back in the spring of 2007.
09/16/06 - Upstart Crow Trading Company (San Diego, CA)
What a fun night for our return to playing shows. Our fellow labelmates, Free Air, opened the show with a great set. If you haven't seen them yet, don't fear, we plan on playing lots of shows together in the future. We got back into things with a new addition to the live show - Justin Bryant on drums. He added lots of energy to our songs and really made a difference. The turnout was awesome and all in all, the show was a success.
06/24/06 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe (La Mesa, CA)
Our last show before the wedding didn't disappoint. Ben Ingraham and PitchLaRooche did a great job of opening the show and we can;t wait to play future shows with them. After a C & C Music Factory entrance we got down to business with Beau's sister's birthday show. We opened the night with a new song "The City That We Love" and introduced another one called "Worl Domination". All in all, it was a great night!
05/27/06 - The Canvas (San Marcos, CA)
What a fun night! We were the sandwich artist inbetween PitchLaRooche and Quinn. Marcel sang some Johnny Cash, and Mike, from PitchLaRooche, joined the set to play some percussion. We debuted our version of "Can't Help Falling In Love".
05/13/06 - Safe Haven Coffee House (San Dimas, CA)
We shared the stage with Simplicity at this cool venue in the Los Angeles area. Ben Ingraham joined us for the road trip. We debuted a new song to our set "Berry Picking Time". We closed the night dining at Applebee's, can you go wrong?
04/22/06 - Upstart Crow Trading Company (San Diego, CA)
Brandon Gomez opened our second performance at Upstart Crow. He was very impressive. The night was so much fun as we introduced three Johnny Cash songs to our set - "Jackson", "I Walk The Line", and "Folsom Prison Blues".
03/18/06 - The Canvas (San Marcos, CA)
We were the opening act for some very talented artists, The Secrets Red and Brian James. We got the crowd warmed up with some upbeat songs like "The Cowboy Song" and "Molly Malone". This is one of our favorite North County venues, and we had a great time on this very cold March evening.
03/04/06 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe (La Mesa, CA)
What an amazing night. The place was packed and it had to be one of our best performances. It was Ben Ingraham's CD Release show as well. Lenny closed the night out and we all left Cosmos happy. Marcel played bass and sang backups, adding so much to our live set.
02/10/06 - His Place (Escondido, CA)
A very cool Christian coffee house in North County. There was a nice crowd and we played with some very talented musicians including Ben Ingraham, Matt Woltjer, Eileen Earle, and Jonathan Pitcher.
01/14/06 - Upstart Crow Trading Company (San Diego, CA)
Our first show of 2006 was quite a different venture. Marcel filled in for Kimberly because she was sick. Marcel busted out his ukulele and joined Beau in a fun set down in this coffee shop in Seaport Village.
12/24/05 - Christmas Eve with our families (San Diego, CA)
We played our new Christmas song "My Christmas" at the Christmas Eve parties for both of our families. Everyone loved it and it was a great way to finish off 2005.
12/20/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
Our final venue performance of 2005 was a good one. To a larger than usual open mic crowd, we played "Autumn Forever" and "My Christmas".We can't wait to see what 2006 brings us.
12/17/05 - The Canvas Cafe (San Marcos, CA)
This was our second performance at The Canvas Cafe. Once again, we had a blast playing this small coffee shop next to The Movement. We shared the stage with a very talented group called In Aidance.
12/16/05 - Christmas In The Village (La Mesa, CA)
Another cold evening in La Mesa. This was one of our better performances. We sold a few of our new Christmas album and drank hot chocolate in between songs.
12/10/05 - Christmas In The Village (La Mesa, CA)
On a cold evening in La Mesa, we played the annual Christmas festival. With family, friends and festivalites in the audience the show went well and perfect for the holidays.
12/07/05 - College Avenue Baptist Church (San Diego, CA)
We debuted some of our Christmas songs to the high school youth group of College Avenue Baptist Church.
11/16/05 - 11/20/05: THE 2005 AUTUMN FOREVER TOUR
Our first stop was at Brewed Awakening (11/16/05 – Las Vegas, NV). We played a small afternoon show and tried some new material on the coffee shop guests. That night we played at Canyon Ridge Christian Church (11/16/05 – Las Vegas, NV). The kids were great and it was one of our better shows. We sold a bunch of CDs and hopefully made a lot of fans. We took Thursday night off and went to Caesar’s Palace to see comedian Lewis Black. On Friday we played at Holy Grounds Coffee Lounge (11/18/05 – Las Vegas, NV). This show was so much fun. The opening acts were great and Jesse, who played with Mike and Rayne, joined us on percussion. We definitely plan on returning to HGCL in the near future. After the show we drove to Arizona to play a couple shows in the Phoenix area. The first one was on Saturday night at a brand new Irish pub/restaurant called Molly Brannigans (11/19/05 – Mesa, AZ). It was an interesting setting. At least we made enough money to cover the gas for the whole trip. We played our last show Sunday afternoon at Bookmans (11/20/05 – Phoenix, AZ). Bookmans is a used entertainment store (books, music, video games, etc.). We played right dab in the middle and finished the tour on a good note. So that was the 2005 Autumn Forever Tour in a nutshell. Good times.
11/12/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe (La Mesa, CA)
A night dedicated to Beau's cousin Bobby who will be leaving for Air Force bootcamp in a week. This was one of our best nights as a band and Dave, Lenny, and Ben followed to cap off a great night of music.
11/11/05 - The Node (Norwalk, CA)
Our best LA show yet at the best kept secret in all of Los Angeles County. A Christian cafe/music/book store that has amazing sound. Maru played after us to complete a fun show.
11/08/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
Back to our old stomping grounds, we played a new song "Mr. Weatherman" and a TB classic "Duke of Green". It was a fun night.
10/21/05 - Angel City Cafe (Bellflower, CA)
Let just say, our dinner at Omega Burger was quite delicious.
10/09/05 - The Dwelling (Spring Valley, CA)
After the service we played for everyone at the Dwelling. This was one of our best shows yet. The crowd clapped along and everyone had a great time. Paul again played with us and did great. "Shout to the North" and "The Night Pat Murphy Died" seemed to be the favorites.
10/07/05 - Acoustic Expressions (San Diego, CA)
We opened for the talented Ian, Chris, and the Dance Floor Prophets. We played four songs including the debut of "Duke of Green". Paul joined us in the short set.
09/24/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe (La Mesa, CA)
This was our first feature show at Cosmos. Static Halo opened and played vintage acoustic indie rock. Lenny and Ben followed with amazing sets. With Paul playing guitar with us, we closed the night. Our friends and family were there and it was a good, old-fashioned, knee-splappin' time.
09/20/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
A train wreck of a night to forget. On the brightside, our friend Paul played guitar with us and we salvaged things with our rendition of a Fountains of Wayne song, "Leave The Biker".
09/10/05 - Angel City Cafe (Bellflower, CA)
Our first trip out of San Diego county was an eventful one. We played almost eveything we had to the audience. We would like to thank them for their percussion contributions. We liked it so much we are going back there in October. Check out Omega Burger in Bellflower, not bad at all!
08/30/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
It was a slow night at Cosmos and we played toward the end. We decided to liven up the place with "New York City" and "The Night Pat Murphy Died".
08/27/05 - American Cancer Society Relay For Life (San Diego, CA)
We played a full set for the participants of San Diego's first Downtown Relay For Life event held at Morley Field. It was a meaningful performance for a very important cause. They raised over $30,000 for the American Cancer Society. We dedicated this show to Beau's grandpa Robert Bell and Kimberly's sister Nichole Davidson. We made a luminaria for each of them.
08/21/05 - The Dwelling Open Mic (Spring Valley, CA)
What was supposed to be an open mic at The Dwelling, turned into a fellowship with everyone hanging out at the coffee shop. We met some cool people and decided to play a couple songs anyway. We chose "All in All" and "The Spirit of Lexington Field".
08/20/05 - The Canvas Cafe (San Marcos, CA)
The Canvas is a new coffee shop associated with The Movement in San Marcos. We played a fun set for everyone. Ian filled on cajon and was great. We opened for Henry Haney who had a very unique and talented style. We plan on playing more North County shows with him in the future.
08/09/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
With Beau being sick, Kimberly sang lead on "The Spirit of Lexington Field" (Papa's song) and then beautifully sang "It Is Well With My Soul" to the open mic crowd. Ian once again played cajon.
08/02/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
We played some fun songs this night. We started off with "Cut Day". And then played our version of MxPx's "Late Again". Our new friend Ian played the cajon and did a great job.
07/30/05 - Cornerstone Cafe "CD RELEASE SHOW" (San Diego, CA)
What a great night. Getty City opened for us and they were amazing. All our family and friends came. Jamie played the cajon with us. And we played 14 songs for the crowd. It was emotional, happy, serious, silly, and SO MUCH FUN! Thank you all for everything. We sold a bunch of CDs and we can't wait to play our hearts out.
07/26/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
Another great night at Cosmos. This was a warmup to our CD Release show at the Cornerstone. We played "On The Cross" and our version of the worship song "All In All". It was a little more relaxing this time.
07/19/05 - Cosmos Coffee Cafe Open Mic (La Mesa, CA)
This was the first public appearance for Fiffin Market. We were nervous at first but settled in and had a great time. Marcel played bass and Jamie played the cajon. The two songs we played were "Astronomy 101" and "New York City".
